Each year our Troop goes to summer camp at Boxwell. It’s a 1,300 acre area located on the shores of Old Hickory Lake. Scouts work on meritbadges and rank advancement and learn skills ranging from pioneering to orienteering. The camp also focuses on its aquatics program with a 4,000 square foot swimming pool complex. Swimming, lifesaving, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, motor boating, water skiing, and even small boat sailing are some of the exciting activities that go on at Boxwell. Also offered are shooting sports such as riflery, shotgun shooting, and archery.
